Over the past few years I’ve seen a huge increase in the love of autumn. We all adore the bonfires, crunchy leaves and hot chocolates… However, I think fashion has started to play a huge part of how we look at the start of the colder months.
We ladies are no longer reduced to simply wearing jumpers and jeans with chunky winter boots. Long gone are the days of suffering in the cold, wearing our best outfits which are clearly meant for August. We can now keep warm and look good. That is why I am a little in love with New Look‘s Heritage range (I say little but really, I’m obsessed).
Their autumnal palette and preppy design puts a great twist on the standard fall fashion. There is definitely something for everyone and for any occasion.
Today I am wearing a Fisherman Knit Jumper in Camel with a Petite Navy Denim Skirt. Now, I will confess I’ve never been one to wear a skirt with ankle boots with (semi) bare legs. However, with these gorgeous Tan Block Heel Brogues my outfit is complete. The heeled boot looks a hundred times better than any pair of flats. Not only do I look taller, because let’s be real I need it, but it also gives the illusion of longer, slimmer legs. Keeping the autumnal tones together is this Tan structured Tote Bag. It’s a wonderful size for my bits and bobs as well as the kitchen sink. It is the ideal accessory for this outfit combo.
This is the perfect look for this time of year and doesn’t leave you feeling frozen. The knit jumper is super cosy but also allows you to keep your femininity by going well with this lovely denim skirt. Add one of New Look’s fabulous coats and you will have no trouble with keeping cosy as well as stylish.
