Florals in Spring with Chi Chi London

What an original title! But spring is *technically* here meaning weddings, garden parties and – of course – Ascot, are just around the corner. And with any spring event, it’s the perfect time to ditch the knits and dress to impress.

Of course, my floral dress from Chi Chi London isn’t just a formal wear outfit that’s great for cocktail parties and springtime occasions – it’s the ideal look for vintage fashion lovers everywhere. This sleeveless dress complete with pleated skirt and fitted bodice screams Betty Draper (a style, face and body which I would love to have but sadly, do not).

A little note… Be sure to check your size! Although I am a size 10/12 this size 10 was a little harder to squeeze over my top half. This is because the bodice isn’t made with a stretchy material. It’s nice and firm, holding in any wobbly bits… Unfortunately for me, I fall dead in between Chi Chi’s sizing guides of 10 – 12, so be sure to check your measurements before buying.

What do you think? Is this the kind of thing you would wear to a wedding event or garden party?

You look so beautiful in that gorgeous dress and I can think of so many different occasions when I’d wear this dress!
